“At first glance, the picture can lead to confusion: in a 4-mm field of view there are too many things. After this first impression, we can see that everything is arranged in a tidy way: in the center of the picture there is the large cross made of many phillipsite-K crystals (Stemple twin, composed of Morvenite twins on 2 axes - See Fig 499, page 407, Zeolites of the world, written by R. W. Tschernich); on the bottom left a perfect sphere of chabazite-K, made up of many very flat rhombohedrons; all around, especially on the right, thompsonite-Ca spheres (typical of the locality, with a discernible fibrous structure that visually distinguishes it from the opal spheres); finally, on the left, calcite, that appears partly bluish for the underlying magnetite and fluorapatite needles. Collection and photo of Gianfranco Ciccolini. Nikon D750, bellows, Luminar 40 mm.”
