Located in a 1-3 metre wide shear zone, where it cuts a chert ridge, 15-20 metres wide. There is strongly fractured and brecciated metabasalt south of the chert, and felsic agglomerate to the north.

The shear zone contains 1 cm thick veinlets, veins or lenses of Cu carbonates, and up to 20 cms thick Cu stained limonite adjacent to the metabasalt and agglomerate. The source notes disseminated pyrite in chert and pyroclastic rocks to the east and north-east.

The Mindat co-ordinates are approximate, and little in the way of workings can be seen in the area.
