Phoenix Mine, Phoenixville mining District, Schuylkill Township, Chester Co., Pennsylvania, USA
A lead mine on the Wheatley vein. One of the Wheatley mines. Started before 1860 and owned by Charles Wheatley. Workings featured a 27 meter deep shaft and 122 meters of drifts (tunnels).
