Roadcut on the higway E 18. A baryte vein produced a large amount of baryte crystals in 1975. In 1998 during enlargement of the E 18 highway new material was exposed and collected.

Baryte
Formula: BaSO4
Colour: white
Description: White tabular crystals was found in two different veins, the larger one approx. 2m wide. Crystal groups where frequent, but the crystals rarely reached more than 1 cm. Crystals up to 8-10 cm are known from the locality
Calcite
Formula: CaCO3
Description: Calcite sometimes filled voids between baryte crystals
Goethite
Formula: α-Fe3+O(OH)
Description: Goethite stalagmites could be found in voids between the baryte crystals. The longest found was min. 2cm long and 2-3mm in diameter. Sometimes sparkling <1mm large baryte crystals covered the goethite
