The area of the Botsaris mines today lies largely within the boundaries of the Military Restricted Area and therefore no new finds are to be expected in the foreseeable future. The area is mainly retained in the database to reference specimen found prior to the establishment of the Military Restricted Area. These came predominantly from the Botsaris Mine which was serviced through about 20 different shafts. Also some smaller, unnamed workings yielded some specimens.
