The Mount Burton deposit (a small lenticular body) was discovered 3 miles west of Whites as a near surface secondary uranium mineralization. The oxidised zone contained torbernite, malachite and minor chalcocite and native copper. Uraninite, pyrite and chalcopyrite are found below the weathered zone.
