Fell February 2005, 252 g
A small stone with a shiny fusion crust which had broken into two fragments was found more than a month after it had broken through the roof and caused a leak. The meteorite's primary constituents are pyroxenes (Ca-poor & Ca-rich) and laths of anorthitic plagioclase. Pyroxene & plagioclase grains (100-200 µm) in a matrix of smaller clasts of similar composition. Sketchily described minor phases include chromite, ilmenite, silica, iron sulfide, and Fe-rich metal. As slightly more than half of the meteorite is now in the possession of the Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle we can hope that further studies are forthcoming.
