Maps list this as some 15 kilometres west of the Great Northern Highway and some 3 kilometres south of the Prairie Downs pastoral station homestead access road. Little is known.
In 2016, exploration company Marindi stated that it controled the area, the deposit on the Prairie Downs Fault Zone, hosting iron ore. It also stated it controlled the nearby Deadman Flats gold workings to the east, the Jillary Well copper occurrence of which no information could be found, uranium and quartz vein anomalies with baryte, antimony and base metals.
