The Greigite crystals (from 0,1 mm to 3-4 cm ) are found into a blue-grey clay fomation ("Argille del Bradano") which occours nar Montemesola. These clays are interposed between grey-green clays at their bed and yellow clays on roof. (Age: from upper Pliocene to Calabrian)
