A Cu-Pb-Ag-Au mine located on the unpatented backbone claim, in South-central sec. 24 & North-central sec. 25, T.18S., R.15E. Owned by Steinfeld & Co.

Mineralization is irregular ferruginous gossan zone with copper and lead carbonates underlain locally by disseminated and massive chalcocite and argentiferous galena in pyrometasomatic replacement deposits along the faulted contact of Paleozoic quartzite and silicated limestone in thrust-faulted block segments.

The ore bed was 5 feet wide. Another, low-grade lode was about 100 feet wide.
