A former underground Au-Ag mine. Produced 1941-1942.
Mineralization is a vein deposit with a tabular ore body. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation at near surface. No alteration was noted. An associated rockm unit is the informally-named Cherry Quartz Diorite.
Area structures include massive and unfoliated quartz diorite.
