Located about 80 km North West of Broken Hill, in Alberta parish.
It should be noted that Alberta parish is located in Farnell Co and NOT Yancowinna County.
The geo-cordinates are approximate.
Corona Station is often given as the locality for Amethyst (i.e.:Corona Amethyst Field), however this is the neighboring pastoral station, which is crossed to access the Amethyst diggings. The diggings are actually located on MacDougall's Well Station (a pastoral station).
It is unclear whether Quartz and Amethyst may or may not be found on this station, given the fact that it is crossed in order to get to the diggings.
Any mention in the literature to Corona Station should be re-evaluated.
