Antimony bearing silver ores.
Structure: Many Faults
Deposit: 8 or more claims ; info.src : 1 pub lit
Development: Ores were difficult to pan amalgamate because of their antimony content. A 5-stamp mill was erected in 1871 but the mines were idle 1871-1873 because of lawsuits. Chloriders were at work in summer of 1873 and shipped a few tons to eureka which yielded about $1200/ton. One carload Ag ore shipped in 1923.
Geology: Ores are localized in irregular quartz veins and replacement bodies along two main east trending zones 5-50 ft. Wide, 1500 feet long.
