Host rock is Teutonia quartz monazite (Beckerman, 1982). Late turquoise replacement of miarolitic cavities resulted in turquoise pseudomorphs after the following minerals: quartz, muscovite, beryl, microcline, apatite as well unconfirmed orthorhombic pseudomorphs labeled as after barite.
Chesterman at the Ca. Div. of Mines and Geology confirmed turquoise pseudomorphs after beryl based on morphology, trace beryl remnants and in situ beryl nearby. (Nazelrod, pers. comm.)
