A former lode Au mine located in secs. 11 & 14, T7N, R10E, MDM, about 2 km SE of Plymouth proper, on private land. Property is a claim of 13 acres. Operated by M. H. and L. D. Reaves. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Older references show the claim in secs. 11, 13 & 14.

Mineralization is a quartz vein deposit hosted in greenstone and slate. The ore body is 30.48 meters thick. The vein lies between a slate hanging wall and a greenstone footwall and is 50 to 100 feet thick, on the hanging wall side of the Mariposa slate belt. Local rocks include Mesozoic volcanic rocks, unit 2 (Western Sierra Foothills and Western Klamath Mountains).

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of a shaft 175 feet deep on the vein plus an open cut of 200 feet by 50 feet.
