A former Au mine located in sec. 29, T6N, R13E, MDM, 1.5 km (1.0 mile) SE of Glencoe, at the headwater of Wet Gulch. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.
NOTE: USGS MRDS file #10211328 presents file #'s 10138764 & 10110631 as related files. Both of these file pertain to another locality with the same name.
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Veins have rich pockets. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 90 foot inclined shaft.
No production record found. Possibly a few thousand dollars (period values) of Au produced in 1934.
