A former lode Au-Cu occurrence/mine located in the center of the N½ (NE¼NW¼) sec. 18, T12N, R9E, MDM, 0.9 km (0.5 mile) N of Cool, on private land. Claim was 12 acres. Operated in 1896. Prospected in 1931. Operated by W. L. and S. S. Lovejoy. Prospected in 1931. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit hosted in porphyry. The ore body strikes N and dips 15W. Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic metasedimentary and metavolcanic rocks undivided.

Workings include underground openings comprised of a 25 foot shaft and two 60 foot inclines.

No production record was found.
