A former lode Au mine located in sec. 8, T3S, R18E, MDM, 0.9 km (3,000 feet) SE of Texas Hill, along Skunk Gulch (6 miles NNW of Briceburg), on National Forest land. Property consisted of an unpatented claim. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a vein 2 to 4 feet (0.6 to 1.22 meters) thick, hosted in slate. The ore body strikes E and dips 75N at a thickness of 1.22 meters. The vein footwall is slate. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).

Workings include surface and underground openings with an overall depth of 15.24 meters and comprised of a 90 foot long adit and a 100 foot open cut.
