A former lode Au occurrence/mine located on the center of the common boundary between secs. 23 & 26, T18N, R11E, MDM, about 5.3 km SSE of Graniteville, on Celina Ridge, W of Canyon Creek and E of Old Condon Mill (site) (3.5 miles W of Carr Lake), on private (patented) land within a National Forest area. The property comprises 27.854 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. This is apparently the same mine referred to as the "Celina Flat" by Clark (1970a).
Mineralization is a vein deposit. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 4 (Klamath Mountains and Northern Sierra Nevada).
