A former lode Au-Sb-Ag occurrence/mine located in sec. 9, T16N, R9E, MDM, about 1.5 km ESE of Willow Valley (town), along the upper N canyon wall of Deer Creek (2 miles E of Nevada City). The property comprises 25 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Mineralization is hosted in granodiorite. The ore body strikes N73E and dips 45NW at a thickness of 0.61 meters. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).
Local geologic structures include a S-dipping fissure at 200 Feet of depth.
Workings include underground openings with a length of 487.68 meters and an overall depth of 91.44 meters and comprised of an adit, tunnel, inclined shaft and stopes.
