A former K occurrence/mine located in sec. 17, T25S, R43E, MDM, 0.4 km (0.3 mile) SSE of Trona and 2.4 km (1.5 miles) ENE of Argus, on private (patented) land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Local rocks include Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.
