A former Au-Cu-Fe occurrence/mine located in the S½SE¼ sec. 20, T12N, R6E, SBM, 5.4 km (3.4 miles) NW of Cave Mountain (coordinates of record) and 8.4 km (5.2 miles) NNE of Afton (2.5 miles SW of West Cronese Lake), . MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.
Mineralization is a silicified shear zone. Magnetite stringers to 6 inches (15 cm) thick occur nearby. Local rocks include pre-Cenozoic granitic and metamorphic rocks undivided.
Workings include surface openings comprised of a pit (the topo map reflects 1 open cast mine symbol labeled "mine" at this point).
