A former Hg occurrence/mine located in the center SE¼ sec. 19, T8S, R2E, MDM, about 5.0 km NNE of New Almaden and 5.5 km (3.4 miles) SSE of Edenvale neighborhood proper, along the northern slope of the Santa Teresa Hills, on former private land, now on county owned park land (Santa Teresa County Park). Discovered prior to 1918. Owned by Pedro A. Bernal. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. Inactive since 1918.

Mineralization is hosted in Late Cretaceous serpentinite. The ore body is irregular. Controls for ore emplacement included local fracturing. Local alteration includes silica carbonate alteration of serpentine. Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan Complex, unit 1 (Coast Ranges).

Local geologic structures include local fracturing; and a clay-serpentine contact.

Workings include unspecified underground openings with a length of 60.96 meters (the topo map reflects 1 adit symbol and 1 shaft symbol labeled as this mine at this point).

Production information: Ore ran 3 pounds Hg per ton.

No visible reserves.
