A Mn occurrence located in the NE¼ sec. 28, T6S, R5E, MDM, about 5.8 km NNW of Black Mountain (summit), on the crest of a divide between 2 W-flowing tributaries of Beauregard Creek. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is .

The ore body strikes NW and dips 60SW to vertical at a width of 1.22 meters and a length of 21.34 meters. A siliceous Mn oxide bed is 70 feet long with a maximum width of 4 feet, averaging 2 feet. The ore is discontinuous and variable in grade and is sometimes found in pockets 2 to 4 feet in diameter. The body is terminated on the S by a fault, and 22 feet N of its S end, is a fault with 8 feet of displacement. Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan melange.

Analytical data results: The average grade of the ore is 25% Mn.
