A former Hg mine located in sec. 22, T46N, R10W, (and in secs. 13, 14, 24 & 25, T47E, R8W [secs. 24 & 25, T48N, R9W - per Pemberton](?)), MDM, 0.7 km (2,200 feet) NNW of Cinnabar Camp and 3.6 km (2.2 miles) S of Bullion Mountain (on the Klamath River, 4 miles W of Oak Bar near the head of Empire Creek, and adjacent to the Cowgill Mine (which is near Cinnabar Camp) [???]). Alternate coordinates provided: 41°55'0"N, 122°43'52"W. NOTE: There are discrepant sets of data regarding geographic location of this mine. The name, mining district, species and some references are shared in common between the two sets of data. The primary coordinates provided are based on the closest to contextual features (Empire Creek and Oak Bar).

Mineralization is a Hg silica-carbonate deposit in a shear zone, hosted in hornfels and schist.
