A former Mn mine located in sec. 19 (near center of the sec.), T5S, R6E, MDM, 3.3 km (2.0 miles) SE of Mount Oso, in the Clear Creek Fork of Ingram Canyon. Discovered in 1918. Operated by J. J. Cummings and Son (1974). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

The ore body is 1.22 meters thick. It occurs in chert with prominent shale partings. The ore body is exposed for 30 feet and appears to lense out at both ends, and is 1 to 4 feet thick, averaging 2 feet. The oxide ore bed is mixed with silica and occurs about 40 feet above massive sandstone. Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan melange.

Workings include unspecified surface and underground openings.

Analytical data results: Sorted ore grade about 40% Mn and 15 to 20% silica.
