A Mn occurrence located in the NW¼ sec. 32, T1N, R8E, HM, 3.4 km (2.1 miles) E of Copper Hill, along North Rattlesnake Creek (on a ridge E of North Rattlesnake Creek), on National Forest land. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

Mineralization is a Mn deposit hosted in chert. Soft black oxide ore outcrop 3 feet wide and 4 feet long, in light colored chert and brown manganiferous chert. NE of the outcrop, a body of white to gray chert strikes N45W. Serpentine is exposed to the N. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 9 (Western Klamath Mountains).
