A quarry located in the SW 1/4 of NE 1/4 of Section 17. T47N R25W. East-southeast of Negaunee, east of Goose Lake in the Ragged Hills, south of Marquette, on private land. Operated by Lindberg and Sons, Incorporated (1978). The USGS MRDS database stated accuracy for this locality is 500 meters.

Local rocks include gneiss and amphibolite (Late Archean, 2.640-2.750 Ma).

Workings include unspecified surface openings (presumably a quarrying operation).
