A former lode Au mine located in secs. 32 & 33, T35N, R10W, MDM (UTM estimated. Location uncertain. Land unsurveyed for township-range), 2.7 km (8,800 feet) SE of Dedrick, along an unnamed tributary of Bear Gulch, a tributary of the Big East Fork Canyon Creek, on National Forest land. Discovered 1894. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters.
Mineralization is a Au occurrence hosted in hornblendite, schist, porphyry and granite. Local rocks include schist of various types and ages, unit 7 (Klamath Mountains).
Workings include underground openings comprised of a 150 foot adit, all in ore.
