A former small underground Ag-Cu-Pb mine located in the SE ¼ sec. 16, T.20S. R.22E, 2.5 miles (ca. 4 km) SW of Tombstone, on private land. Operated at times, or in part, by the Mellgren Group and the Tombstone Silver Fields Co. Operators also included W. Fowler; and Brewster & Farrington.

Mineralization is spotty silver values along an oxidized fissure vein cutting Cretaceous Bisbee Group beds.

Local structures include NE-trending granodiorite dikes in the area. One is located near the shaft.

Workings include a shallow shaft(s). A few hundred tons of ore were produced intermittently from the 1880s to 1917.
