Type Locality:Herja Mine (Kisbánya), Baia Mare (Nagybánya), Maramures Co., Romania is the type locality for Fizélyite
Comments:Herja has produced the world's largest fizelyite crystals and not a one is terminated!
Papp et al. (2007) also report a fizelyite-related mineral.
Habit:Curved blades to ropey intergrowths to several cm
Colour:black
UV Fluorescence:none
Quality of samples:Excellent - world class for species or very significant. (!!)
