Me, too.

I found out that he had re-registered (not approved) in May 2015 as "Matthew Webb" with the e-mail address PeterEdwardKuczynski@hotmail.com.

Blocked as well.

I got the same message, and two others. Peter, I would appreciate it if you only sent one pm. I looked at the website, it is mostly just pictures of the collection, however at the bottom it mentioned things for sale. Peter if you are not intending to advertise things for sale, just send a pm that is personal, I felt like it was more or less spam.

I received two messages. If you're trying to get someone to visit a website; that is NOT the way. I wouldn't click on a link like that if you paid me. If you were really interested in directing someone to a website, you could introduce yourself and try to establish a personal connection with people instead of flooding PM's everywhere.

I would encourage anyone getting a message from Mathew Web to just delete it and not respond to it. He thrives on argument and you will not be able to alter his behavior by arguing with him. The silent treatment is much more effective.

Just noticed this as well. Received a notification that I got a private message from an unknown individual and then I looked into this and found this topic. I never opened or looked at the private message.

The private messaging feature appears to have a bug that it is still showing you have new private messages when this individual was deleted/blocked.

Please note this spam was sent by Australian mineral dealer/collector Matthew Webb, and is nothing to do with Peter Kuczynski or Steve Andrasek. The former is an ex-business partner he has fallen out with, which is why he is trying to generate trouble for him.

We are keeping a full log of Matthew Webb's activities here and his attempts to impersonate other people in order to damage their reputation. If the two people affected are interested in taking action against Matthew Webb to prevent his defamation of their names then mindat.org has IP address and date/time details to help them make a case against him.

I have edited the subject of this thread to avoid any more upset to Peter.

And if you know Matthew, please tell him to stop. And I would hope that mineral collectors do not tolerate this behaviour and stop dealing with Matthew.

You may see 'ghost' messages from Matthew Webb in your inbox because I had to go into the database to delete them manually
