It's time to take care of this, I should think!

I am very new to mineral collecting - up until 2008, flora and fauna were my main interests.

My husband Reiner and I are collectors. We are fortunate to live very close to the Dundas and Flamboro quarries. As well, we make bi-monthly trips to the Bancroft area, and more irregularly to the Mamainse copper area on Lake Superior.

To pay for our hobby, we sell our material online or at mineral shows in Peterborough, Paris, or London, Ontario.

I am a novice photographer, too. My current project involves cataloging Reiner's thumbnail collection. It's a great learning experience - not only minerals: the whats and the wheres, but also the joys and heartbreak of digital cameras!
