Zeolites occur in Eocene basalt in three quarries west of the town of Oakville, in Grays Harbor County, Washington. One abandoned quarry on the south side of the road produces few specimens as does the active quarry far north of the highway. The best material all came from a shallow quarry near the north side of the road. It is now filled with water and collecting is not allowed.
