A quartz mine located near the peak of High Peak on the road to the fire tower, near Caddo Gap, which, in turn is near Mt Ida (6 miles SSE). Started in the 1960's and closed in the 1980's with subsequent intermittent activity. Mineralization is quartz veins in Crystal Mountain sandstone.
