An Fe occurrence/mine in magnetite ore located about Β½ mile North of Schooleys Mountain. Started 1855, closed 1868 & reopened 1872-1873.
Mineralization is a deposit comprised of several veins/shoots of ore.
Workings include surface and underground openings comprised by 1868 of 2 large pits and a shaft plus a 2nd. shaft (1882) to 50 feet deep.
