A former surface and underground Pb-Ag-Au-Cu-Mo mine located in secs. 25 & 26, T5S, R19E, 4000 feet NW of Aravaipa on the line between secs. 25 & 26. Owned by Athletic Mining Co. (Charles Bush and Paul Morrill) (1950).

Mineralization is a tabular ore body 76.2 meters long, 0.91 meters thick, striking N-S, and dipping 80E, hosted in andesite. Horse Mountain Volcanics may be equivalent to Galiuro Volcanics. Very scarce wulfenite is present. Ore control was a fracture zone. Concentration was fissure fillings.

Area structures include block faulting trending NNW. Regional trends: minor Pre-Cretaceous E- and NE-trending folds.

Workings incluse a 2 compartment shaft, depth unknown; open cut. Production was 5 carloads of Pb-Ag-Au ore.
