Active (2018) quarry exposing a good section of Ordovician rock from the Prairie du Chien Group through the St. Peter Sandstone and Sinnipee Group. Some layers contain vugs with calcite, dolomite and quartz crystals. There is also some patchy sulfide mineralization, often oxidized to iron oxides.
