Several feldspar quarries in a large granite pegmatite dyke. The pegmatite forms a hill about 100m broad and has been worked at several places. A gadolinite crystal weighing 200kg has been found here. A pyrite mass of more than 100kg has been found here. Some of the microcline crystals contained more than 200 tons of feldspar.

Bjørlykke locality nr 96.

Bjørlykke places nr. 97 "Frikstad 10" SW of "Frikstad 9" on his map. But he writes that Frikstad 10 is situated E of Frikstad 9. Actually, there is no quarry E of the here given coordinates. But to the NNE there is actually a quarry.

(Note RW 24-3-2018):
After an extensive study of the altitude map, aerial pictures, Løchen's map , Andersen's and Barth's maps, the conclusion must be that both Barth's and Løchen's maps are wrong.
Where Barth places his nr. 96 and 97 quarries, there is actually only one quarry discernable.
Løchen (2009) describes Frikstad 10 (Bjørlykke 97) as a 25x5m large quarry. There is no such quarry in that area.
But 370 m to the west, there are four quarries situated close together.
The quarry that can be seen at the place where Bjørlykke places his 96/97 quarries, is considerable smaller than the dimensions Løchen gives up (11x4m).
It is impossible to find any trace of a quarry in a 100m circle around this one.
However, on Andersen's map, the Steli location is about 800m (not 500m) north of the Vestre Frikstad farm. And in that pegmatite are four quarries.
The only problem now is, that there is no quarry 100m NE of Frikstad 9...
The nearest quarry fitting the description of being 25x5m is situated 335m to the NE.
