Abandoned mine consisting of four galleries, excavated between 160 and 195 m a.s.l. in the Mn-Fe ore deposit of Novare. The ore deposit is located in the wood known as Bosco della Costa, about 600 m SE of Novare di Arbizzano; it consists of a mineralised layer, 50 cm to 8 m thick, extending for over 50,000 m².
