Boratera Tres Morros
Lacustrine borate deposit, from a few cms to more than 1 metre thick, extending over about 1,000 hectares. On the eastern shores of the Salinas Grandes, 38 km west of Purmamarca railway station. Production in 1949 was 276 tons.
