Scheelite disseminated in the metabasites of the Gesso-Stura-Vésubie Terrane (Argentera crystalline massif).
The mineralized outcrops are located along the ridge descending from Cima della Lombarda towards Colle della Lombarda, partly on the French side (see http://www.mindat.org/loc-252171.html).
