This adit is reported to be 100m long. The workings follow a light green rock rich in amphiboles and with disseminated chalkopyrite, pyrite and pyrrhotite. Near the entrance, a chalkopyrite bearing pegmatite is exposed.

The dump (400m3) contains more chalkopyrite than sphalerite samples. They are found as massive chalkopyrite/sphalerite ore as well as disseminated chalkopyrite in a biotite-amphibole-quartz rich rock. Massive chalkopyrite with pyrrhotite and quartz are the only ore from Sauda with a small gold content (0,6-0,9 ppm Au).
