The Durack mineral sands deposit is approximately 10 kilometres west of Three Springs, and 5 kilometres north of the Eneabba-Three Springs Road.
Durack is a broad dunal style heavy mineral sands deposit. Mineralisation occurs from the surface to a depth of 16.5 metres, averaging 6 metres thick.
The resource is 65.3 Mt @ 1.8 HM, containing 1.2 Mt HM (Indicated and Inferred JORC resource), including a high grade component 24.2 Mt @ 3% HM (Indicated and Inferred JORC resource). The deposit contains 170 000 tonnes of zircon, 824 000 tonnes of ilmenite, 65 000 tonnes of leucoxene, and 33 000 tonnes of rutile.
