GML 545. Gibb-Maitland in 1908 states no work or shaft could be seen on the lease, although he was of the view the lease was worth testing. The Black Shepherd mine adjoined the lease to north-east.

However, newspaper reports from the time disagree with Gibb-Maitland, as the lease was active. Pegged 22 October 1898 by F. Thelemann. GML 545, 3 acres.

January 1899, the lease is pegged by J.L. Oborn. GML 556, 6 acres. There appears to have been some dispute over this with Thelemann, as the Minister gave the lease back to Thelemann in March, and then fines him for non payment of rent. Mid 1899, 50 shares from the mine is sold by the Marble Bar Courthouse, possibly relating to John Perot and a forged cheque.

One year later the lease is owned by M. Hoolihan, employing six men, with 20 tonnes of ore at grass, another 60 tonnes expected in two months. A crushing is reported in 1901, and this is the last information found.
