A former underground Au-Ag-Cu mine located 4 miles East of Prescott in the northern foothills of the Bradshaw Mountains. Discovered by J. Vudgeon in 1878. Produced 1879-1936.

Mineralization is a vein deposit with a chimney ore body in dense black amphibolite with dikes of diorite porphyry intruded on the west by a vein of massive quartz several feet wide and trending N.18ΒΊE. Ore control was faulting and shearing. Ore concentration was oxidation and enrichment at near surface. Alteration was minor.

Workings include a 132 foot deep shaft (now caved).
