Structure: Numerous Faults

Tectonics: Pajarito Plateau

Deposit: The albemarle mine was the largest and deepest mine in the cochiti district. ; info.src : 1 pub lit; 2 unpub rept several east-west faults cause displacements up to 4 feet. The four patented claims-albemarle, huron, ontario, and pamlico, cover an area of 77.20 acres. The mineral survey number is 997 a,b,c, and d, and the patent number is 34559.

Development: The albemarle mine has not been worked since 1902.
