A former lode Au mine located in sec. 7, T4N, R13E, MDM, 3.1 km (1.9 miles) ESE of Quiggs Mountain (coordinates of record)(2½ miles WSW of Mountain Ranch). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in limestone and slate. The ore body is tabular in form, strikes NW and dips NE. There are 2 veins at 8 feet thick each at the contact of the limestone and slate. Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings with an overall depth of 18.29 meters, and comprised of a 125 foot adit and 100 feet of drifts.

Analytical data results: 2½% sulfides.
