A Au occurrence located in the SWΒΌ sec. 3, T15S, R23E, SBM, 8.3 km (5.2 miles) ESE of Pebble Mountain (coordinates of record) and 13.7 km (8.5 miles) SSE of Picacho, along the S side of Senator Wash. MRDS database accuracy for this location is not stated.

NOTE: The USGS MRDS database presents MRDS file #10163424 as a related file; however, that file pertains to another locality with a similar name.

The ore body is 0.61 meter wide and 60.96 meters long. The surface is covered with a thin mantle of debris from basalt flow overlying gneiss to the SW. Ridges to the NE are underlain by Tertiary pyroclastics. Au-bearing stringers occur in Precambrian (?) gneiss that extends a known distance of about 1 mile under the mountain. The gold occurs as fine leaf. Local rocks include Tertiary nonmarine rocks, undivided.

Workings include surface and underground openings comprised of shallow shafts, trenches and cuts.
