A former lode Au-S mne located in sec. 34, T32N, R6W, MDM (coordinates estimated; section projected), 2.6 km (8,600 feet) SW of Shasta on National Park Service land (Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity National Recreation Area). The property consisted of 6 claims. Production commenced 1899. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

Mineralization is hosted in granite porphyry. The ore body strikes N55E and dips 85N at a thickness of 1.83 meters. The deposit has 2 parallel veins, 75 feet apart. Gold is associated with sulphides. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 4 (Klamath Mountains and Northern Sierra Nevada).

Workings include underground openings 129.54 meters long and with an overall depth of 39.62 meters. They are comprised of a 300 foot adit and a 130 foot deep shaft with drifts 75 feet N and 50 feet S.
